(Toshiba headquarters)
The industrial sector in Europe and Japan is going through a period of transformation. In recent years, much has been made of the emergence of autonomous systems. But with this comes the challenge of how to ensure functional safety, product liability and traceability.
The Tokyo Systems Engineering Summit – presented by prostep ivip Association and its Premium Partner NTT DATA – as the premier networking event on industrial digital transformation for European and Japanese manufacturing representatives, will take place on 8 December 2023 at the Hamamatsucho Building (Toshiba headquarters). It aims to promote the mutual, non-competitive exchange of information and networking between like-minded people from Japan and Germany.
Experts from Japan and Germany will share their approaches and experiences. Representatives from OEMs and suppliers as well as from standardization and government projects will provide an insight into current and future topics. Presentations will cover the state of the art in software driven products. The focus will be on collaborative systems engineering, autonomous cyber-physical systems, verification and validation, and systems integration.
prostep ivip is a non-profit association working with institutions such as JAMA, JAMBE, VDA, OMG, Modelica, GfSE (INCOSE Chapter), ISO and ASAM to help organizations in a multilateral value chain build a solid foundation for process excellence with broad industrial application of international recommendations.
In this context, strengthening networking with Japanese industry representatives is one of PROSTEP IVIP's strategic goals. It is in this spirit that the 2023 Tokyo Systems Engineering Summit is to be understood.
We are honored by the presence of several partners within our accompanying exhibition. The exhibition enables all participants to exchange information directly with each other. During the breaks and after the event we offer direct networking opportunities within the participants and the exhibitors.
