This White Paper gives a definition of the Digital Master approach and an overview of the JT format. It shows how JT can be used in a Digital Master process chain according to recommendation of prostep ivip. Practical experience and benefits gained from current Digital Master implementations using JT as backbone are described. Possible developments for the JT format and the Digital Master approach are discussed.
