Abstract
The prostep ivip project group Collaborative Digital Twin (CDT), launched with VDA, addresses cross-enterprise collaboration through Digital Twins. With input from 80+ experts across 26 companies and 9 research institutions, CDT delivers a semantic foundation, a federated IT architecture, validated user journeys, and cross-domain configuration management. Implementation can enable up to 10% shorter development cycles. CDT lays the groundwork for the next phase: Live Collaboration in Engineering (LCE).
