The DIN SPEC JT industrial application package (JT IAP) was revised in the course of the PAS procedure. It extends the syntax and semantics of the ISO 14306 JT file format. As part of the updated standard DIN SPEC 91383: 2021-07, the JT format was standardized in version 10.5.

The DIN SPEC includes the latest expansion requests from the JT Workflow Forum and JT Implementor Forum project groups jointly supported by prostep ivip and VDA. It covers more than 40 JT-based use cases, which are described in the prostep ivip recommendation PSI 14-2:2021.

From standard to implementation! In this web seminar, Rudolf Dotzauer will report on the process and the innovations in standardization. Bernd Watzal will give a report on the introduction of JT 10.5 at Mercedes-Benz. The web seminar closes with an outlook on the future use of JT and an overview of the focus topics 2022 in the JT workflow forum.
