On 5 November 2018, the 4th JT Day was held at the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg. Dr. Sebastian Handschuh (Daimler AG) and Stefan Just (PROSTEP AG) welcomed more than 140 international participants from all branches of industry. The program was structured around three consecutive tracks. 

The morning program included an impressive keynote by the organizer Volkswagen, as well as remarkable expert lectures by Ford and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen. The afternoon session featured a vendor track with topics such as „Mobile Visualization“, „JT in Simulation“ and „JT in Virtual Reality“. The day concluded with a session on „JT Success Stories“. All presentation will be available for download through the prostep ivip website shortly. 

In the exhibition area 13 vendors demonstrated their soft- and hardware components from the respective solution portfolios together with the appropriate service offer.  

The talks and discussions focused on the strategic impact of the currently published DIN SPEC 91383 or the next steps for the implementation of collaboration scenarios. As in previous years, participants left the conference with a lot of new impressions and ideas, and additionally this year with anticipation for the 5-year anniversary of the JT Day in 2019!
