Information event for Japanese automotive industry representatives
Many thanks to all speakers, participants and NTT Data for this great event! For more information concerning Systems Engineering Day see down below.
The industry in Europe and Japan is undergoing a transformation. The rise of autonomous systems has been a hot topic in recent years. But with this comes the challenge of ensuring functional safety, product liability, and traceability. Model-based systems engineering is a technological enabler for the overall reliability of such systems by design.
The prostep ivip Association is a non-profit organization that operates with institutions such as OMG, Modelica, ASAM, VDA, JAMBE and JAMA to help organizations working in an added-value chain with multiple suppliers to form a solid ground for a broad industrial application of standards supporting this transformation.
In this context, one of prostep ivip’s strategic aims is to strengthen the networking with Japanese industry representatives. In this spirit, the prostep ivip’s System Engineering Day Japan should be understood.
Experts from Japan and Germany will give insight into their approaches and lessons learned. Presenters will be from German and Japanese OEMs and suppliers, standardization and government funded projects. Presentations will give insights into state-of-the-art technologies concerning Systems Engineering and the engineering of self-driving cars and will introduce what is coming next. Regarding this, model-based engineering, verification and validation, processes and supplier integrations, exchange formats and system integrations will be focal points.
This event aims to enhance the mutual exchange of non-competitive information and networking between like-minded people from Japan and Germany.
