January 1999
Mission
The CAx IF is a joint working group supported by both PDES, Inc. and the ProSTEP iViP Association. The objective of the CAx IF is to advance and accelerate the application reliability of geometric data exchange via ISO STEP 10303This includes both ensuring a continual increase in the level of quality offered and making new functionality needed by the users available. In addition to the work performed within the framework of the forum, the CAx IF also documents recommendations for implementation in the form of Recommended Practices.Focus on geometric and dimensional tolerances (GD&T) and long-term archiving
Focus is currently being placed on
Work is performed in close cooperation with the LOTAR project group and Maintenance.
|
Updating the Recommended Practices to include the new edition of ISO 10303 (STEP) AP203 and the third edition of ISO 10303 (STEP) AP214. |
