Benchmark
STEP Data Exchange Workshop
Ever since the STEP portal was launched, topic-specific information workshops for the CAD user community have been held twice a year (usually in spring and fall) under the title STEP Data Exchange Workshop. By concentrating on specific topics, CAD users can strategically expand their STEP know-how.
The topics dealt with in the workshops held in 2003 were:
|
8th benchmark |
|
Future test models: Discussion about the design rules for the tolerance test mouse for a variety of CAD systems |
|
Elimination of problems in order to optimize the quality if data during data exchangeh |
|
Afternoon discussions together with the CAx-IF (took place in fall) |
The workshops are also used as a platform for discussing the data exchange problems currently being encountered in companies or current topics involving the area of CAD data exchange.
The results of the workshops are available to Association members both upon request (unter psev@prostep.de) and in the STEP Forum. The dates of the next workshops can be found in the STEP forum.
