Mission
In 2007, the ProSTEP iViP “Collaborative Project Management (CPM)” project was brought to a successful close with the publication of recommendations for the implementation of cross-enterprise project management. This means that OEMs and suppliers now have solutions for implementing distributed project management in distributed development projects available to them. These solutions give due consideration not only to the methodological, technological and organizational aspects of managing development projects but also to the human aspects.
Support for implementing collaborative project management (CPM)
Focus is placed on providing support for pilot projects conducted in the automotive industry and finding solutions to problems relating to implementation.
The CPM IF is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the ProSTEP iViP documentation listed below, which supports the use and implementation of the CPM Recommendations:
