since 2008
In 2007, the ProSTEP iViP project „Collaborative Project Management (CPM)“ was brought to a successful close with the publication of the recommendations for the implementation of cross-company project management (PSI 1), the corresponding Implementation Guideline and a Usage Guide for the user community. This means that OEMs and suppliers now have solutions for implementing distributed project management in distributed development projects available to them. These solutions give due consideration methodological, technological, organizational an human aspects of managing development projects.
In order to prepare CPM for widespread use, focus is placed on acquiring users for pilot projects and supporting OEMs with the implementation of CPM in their products. The goal is to manifest the benefit of CPM for both users and systems providers.
The CPM IF is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the ProSTEP iViP documentation listed below, which supports the use and implementation of the CPM Recommendations:
No | Title | Comments |
- | Information for users relating to implementing the methodology | |

Work is performed in close cooperation with CPM Maintenance.
