Here you can download free of charge recommendations and standards, white papers and studies, executive summaries, best practices and use cases as well as benchmarks, that were developed or conducted by the ProSTEP iViP Association, partly in cooperation with other organisations (e.g. ISO, OMG, PDES Inc.; VDA).
What you will find:
- Under Recommendations (e. g. ProSTEP iViP Recommendations) we understand solid specifications for a specific topic, that are supported by a community (e. g. ProSTEP iViP members) and can be utilized in industry. Standards on the other hand are specifications provided by a standardization committee, such as ISO or OMG.
- White Papers are meant to give you an overview in about 8 - 15 pages on a certain subject matter or on specific project results. Studies are comparable to White Papers, but are more detailed and therefore more comprehensive.
- The Executive Summary gives on just a few pages (max. 3) a concise description of a certain fact (challenges and concepts for solution).
- Guidelines describe proven and cost-efficient processes and mechanisms, and Use Cases specific user scenarios. In addition, you will find here final reports on different ProSTEP iViP Projects.
- Under Benchmarks we describe performance characteristics (e.g. of CAD-Systems) and compare them with each other.
We reserve the right to make some documents available exclusively to our members.
