Working group relationships

The development of a worldwide-accepted standard for long term archiving of a 3D master and product structure is an international collaboration of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe for Standardization (ASD-STAN) under the supervision of the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). Key enabler of the LOTAR project are the ProSTEP iViP Association and the PDES, Inc. The joint CAx Implementor Forum is used for harmonizing the project results with CAD vendors. The results of LOTAR will be finally released as EN 9300 and NAS 9300 series. Part of the series is already released as prEN 9300.
